Baden-Württemberg is investing 300 million euros in individual company innovations and investments through Invest BW.

With Invest BW, the largest cross-sector innovation and investment funding programme in the history of Baden-Württemberg has been launched these days. Applications can be submitted from 15 January.
The most important facts in brief:
With the innovation funding, this programme supports research, development and innovation projects that aim across sectors at new products, new services, new business models and business processes. The goal is to initiate cross-sector innovation and research projects. In addition, the maximum grant per project is 5 million euros.
The funding rates here depend on the project (industrial research vs. experimental development) and the size of the company. They range between 30 and 80% for companies.
Projects in the area of investment funding are capped at a maximum of 1 million euros in funding. This funding pot supports establishment and expansion investments or investments in the transformation or diversification of a business site. The standard funding rate is 10%, but you can also apply for surcharges for particularly sustainable projects and those of special strategic importance – for example, the creation of jobs. Tangible and intangible assets are funded, such as plant, machinery, software and associated qualification measures. Importantly, no construction or building investments are subsidised!
