Expert presentation at the trade show of the Federation of the Self-Employed „BDS open 2014“
On 1 and 2 November 2014, the Federation of the Self-Employed (Bund der Selbständigen) Kirchheim unter Teck held a trade fair at the Jakob-Friedrich-Schöllkopf School in Kirchheim unter Teck.
Together with tax advisor Robert Schmid of OptiTaxX Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH, we gave a presentation on the topic: New opportunities for corporate restructuring and crisis management.
With the adoption of the „Act to Further Facilitate the Restructuring of Companies“ (ESUG) in 2012, new and interesting opportunities arose for restructuring companies in crisis. As a result, the rules of the game changed in favour of companies.
Jan Dietz (Dipl.-Betriebswirt), Managing Director of the consultancy oeconos GmbH, and Robert Schmid (Dipl.-oec.), Managing Director of OptiTaxX Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH, presented interesting alternatives for relieving a company of its burdens in order to increase or restore profitability.
They gave practical advice on what entrepreneurs need to watch out for in order to avoid insolvency and during a crisis before insolvency, and what support they can receive in doing so.
