The energiehelden academy provides AZAV-certified training for photovoltaic installers. The young company was already operating very successfully in the market with its business idea. The question was how a strategic investor could be brought into the company in such a way that the intended growth (setting up several new locations) could be financed, while at the same time the founders retained significant influence over the company.
oeconos GmbH supported the young entrepreneurs with its expertise in corporate financing and weighed up the advantages and disadvantages of the various options together with the owners. The optimal approach was developed and successfully implemented by the founders. Together with the strategic investor, the company was able to embark on its expansion course.

More growth potential through the use of IT
Each year, a nationwide performance comparison of wastewater treatment plants is carried out, assessing the cleaning performance of the individual plants. Across the seven regional associations, data from around 6,000 treatment plants is collected, evaluated and compared.
Previously, the data was recorded manually, forwarded, and prepared and published with great personnel effort. The objective was to optimise these highly labour- and time-intensive data preparation processes. oeconos GmbH accompanied the realisation of this complex task in individual work packages.
With identical delivery quality, we were able to achieve considerable cost savings.

As a vendor-independent consultancy, oeconos GmbH was entrusted with the selection and implementation of the software. During the rollout, the logic was developed together with Sternenbäck that enables the software to distribute the bakery orders placed by the branches optimally across the vehicles and to calculate cost-minimal routes.

Following a change of management, oeconos GmbH was commissioned by the shareholder of Schwenkel GmbH to carry out investigations into the profitability and strategic direction of the company.
Taking the shareholder’s requirements into account, various courses of action for the company’s future were to be developed on the basis of the findings – whether the business should continue to be run independently, or whether searching for suitable interested parties and selling the company would be the better option.
